I'm a fifty-something woman writing fanfic to stave off old age and dementia - although some might argue it's too late.

My OTP is John Sheppard/Rodney McKay. I love the snark between them and the way they have each other's back at all times. I hate the characters of Jennifer Keller and Elizabeth Weir - aka the stuck-up-cheerleader and the frigid-disapproving-mom. I adore fics in which these two characters are bashed to hell. Sorry, but I am being honest.

I also read a little in The Hobbit fandom - LOTR is way too complicated in real life, let alone with fandom adjustments, although I did enjoy the books - the last film (Return of the King) however, went on far too long.

I also read a little in NCIS and H5O.
